PyWeek | Flash | Mods | iPhone

PyWeek is a biannual online competition, where the goal is to make a game with python within a week. I've completed three games for pyweek, one of them actually coming first and another as a close second. Art work for the pyweek games are done by me. Programming all done by Alex Holkner, who is such a brilliant person I’m always honored to work with.

This page isn't really finished yet, I'll try and add some screen shots and maybe a short video of each game when I have time later.

Pyweek 6 - Make Me

The theme for pyweek 6 was Robots, I made this game in my second year of uni, it’s one of my proudest achievements. The first game I’ve worked on made from scratch.  The game is about a little robot I named P1 (or pi) who wants to win the girl bot over, but girl bots like money, girl bots like flowers and girl bots like presents.

Make me can be downloaded at it's pyweek page.

Pyweek 7 - kite Story

Theme for pyweek 7 was the length of a piece of string. Originally uninspired by the idea I came up with a simple game concept, a kite which ate things which allowed it to travel higher. Being a simple game we had a lot more time to fine tune all the small details and as the game progressed we found the game to be more and more fun and amazingly Kite Story won pyweek 7.

Kite Story can be downloaded at it's pyweek page.

Pyweek 8 - Leaving home

Once again going with our two word titles, Leaving home was made for the theme "Get off my lawn" It's a simple point and click puzzle game about a girl with agoraphobia and is unable to leave her home. The goal of the game is to pretty much get her out of her house and across her front lawn and to the park across the rode. The game is a bit short and very simple due to the lack of free time we had during pyweek.

Leaving home can be downloaded at it's pyweek page.
